Spend a day away from the Big Apple and explore historical Boston, reminiscent of a European village and centre of the American Revolution.
Depart New York and ahead for the historical city of Boston. Walk the Freedom Trail, a preserved path in the heart of downtown with churches, meeting houses, burying grounds and a ship that are historic markers of the era. See Boston Commons, where British soldiers trained, Beacon Hill, and the Old State Capitol.
Go to Boston Harbour, site of the historical “Tea Party", the USS Constitution, and Bunker Hill - site of one of the first battles of the Revolution. Continue to Faneuil Hall, for a lunch break filled with great shopping and street performers entertaining the daily crowds. Cross the Charles River to the village of Cambridge, and Harvard Square, home to the world renowned university.
